Clear your calendar the day of your shoot and pamper yourself. This could mean going to the spa, having a spa day at home, self pleasure session, exercise, whatever makes you feel GOOD. Listen to music that makes you feel sexy, eat nourishing food that won’t leave you feeling bloated or gross. Journal about your intentions for the photoshoot and what it means to you. Really use this day to get connected to your body and soul.

We’ll meet at our agreed upon location, do a little meditation to ground into the moment and intention, and begin shooting! Don’t worry about coming up with poses because I’ll be giving you prompts that bring out your natural essence the whole time. Once the time is up and/or I feel like we’ve got everything we need, we’ll wrap it up!

It all depends on your specific vibe, but here are my suggestions: Neutral colors, anything lacy, classic denim jeans and a white tee, flowy dresses. Since 99% of my shoots happen outdoors in nature, the more natural looking the better. That goes for hair and makeup too. A few different outfits, any special items you want to be photographed with (jewelry, crystals, etc…), water, snacks, bugspray, hiking shoes just in case, a towel just in case you get in water, anything you’ll need to touch up hair/makeup, any anything else you anticipate you’ll need out in nature, hiking, and potentially on a hot day (Austin summers get very hot).

I get this questions a lot and my answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT. While a lot of my clients do ask to have their nude (or topless) photos taken, it is strictly up to you. I have lots of other ideas that look great with clothes on. In the case that you do want nudes, please let me know beforehand so I can pick a location that will allow for that.

Typically within 2 weeks, no later than a month. They’ll be delivered via a private gallery.
